Dehradun’s IT Park has recorded a rise in startup registrations, indicating growing interest in innovation and entrepreneurship within the state. Most of these startups operate in fields such as renewable energy, online education platforms, and digital services.
Local entrepreneurs have attributed this growth to improved co-working spaces, supportive business policies, and mentorship programs by multiple incubation centers. The state government is planning additional incentive schemes to further encourage technology-driven ventures.
Industry experts believe that the rise of startups will generate new employment opportunities for local youth.
