Several schools in Uttarakhand have launched coding workshops to teach students fundamental programming skills, including Python, JavaScript, and HTML. The initiative is part of the state’s effort to prepare students for digital-era careers and technological awareness.
Teachers have reported high engagement levels, with students eager to develop apps, websites, and simple games. Officials believe that early exposure to coding will nurture problem-solving abilities and logical thinking among young learners.
The program will gradually expand to cover more schools and include advanced topics such as AI and robotics in future modules.
